William “Chip” Pence is the founder of The Bytes of Lyfe Foundation and the visionary behind its mission to make mental-health support accessible to everyone. Drawing from personal experience, resilience, and a deep belief in the power of technology used for good, Chip created the Foundation to provide free AI-powered tools that support emotional wellness, recovery, and memory preservation.
Chip oversees the organization’s direction, program development, and long-term strategy. His work blends creativity, compassion, and technical curiosity, ensuring that every project — from LyfeSaver to AfterByte — is built with dignity, accessibility, and community impact at its core.
He is committed to building a movement that helps people feel seen, supported, and empowered — one byte at a time.
Kristina M. Dunn
Kristina Dunn brings both heart and expertise to The Bytes of Lyfe Foundation. Currently completing her degree in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Human Capital Management and Payroll, she blends formal education with real-world experience in supporting people and organizations alike.
Professionally, Kristina works in Payroll Distribution for a leading Human Capital Management SaaS company that provides HR and payroll solutions to nearly 40,000 businesses nationwide. Her work ensures accuracy, fairness, and trust in systems that impact thousands of employees every day — values that align closely with the Foundation’s mission of serving the community with transparency and care.
Kristina is passionate about people, structure, and creating environments where individuals feel supported. Her insight into business operations and human-centered systems strengthens the Board as we continue building accessible mental health tools and expanding our reach to those who need it most.
Dustin Dakota Jakubs
Dustin Dakota Jakubs is a self-taught hardware and software specialist whose curiosity, persistence, and hands-on approach make him an invaluable part of The Bytes of Lyfe Foundation. With years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and building technology from the ground up, Dustin brings a practical understanding of systems that complements the Foundation’s mission of accessible, community-focused innovation.
Dustin’s expertise spans both hardware and software environments, allowing him to bridge gaps between technical challenges and real-world solutions. His ability to diagnose problems, optimize systems, and support infrastructure makes him a trusted technical voice on the Board.
What sets Dustin apart is not just his skill, but his willingness to help others. His belief in making technology less intimidating and more empowering aligns deeply with the Foundation’s goal of bringing mental-health-oriented AI tools to the people who need them most.
