Who We Are
The Bytes of Lyfe Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization built to bring AI-powered mental-wellbeing tools to the public at no cost.
We are incorporated in the State of Indiana and are preparing to submit our application for federal 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in January 2026.
During this pending period, we are allowed to operate as a nonprofit organization and carry out our mission.

Our Partnership With LyfeBytes LLC
Transparency is especially important when a nonprofit collaborates with a for-profit entity—so we make our relationship extremely clear.
Who Builds the Tools?
LyfeBytes LLC, an independent for-profit creative studio, develops all proprietary software and intellectual property, including:
AfterByte — digital legacy & memory preservation
LyfeSaver — a pocket sponsor for addiction recovery
Solace — guided emotional reflection & grounding support
How the Partnership Works
LyfeBytes LLC retains ownership of the intellectual property
The Bytes of Lyfe Foundation, Inc. holds a perpetual, royalty-free license to deploy these tools
These tools are provided free of charge to the public
The Foundation does not pay LyfeBytes LLC for access or use
This protects the mission, avoids conflicts, and ensures the public will always have free access
Why This Matters
This structure guarantees:
The Foundation cannot lose access to its own programs
Donated funds never become payments to a for-profit entity
The public receives the tools permanently, freely, and without barriers
Innovation continues at the LLC while access is protected at the Foundation
This is a symbiotic model designed for integrity, independence, and long-term public good.

Financial Transparency
We believe people deserve to know how their donations are used.
During the 501(c)(3) Application Period
All funds received are treated as charitable contributions
Once approved, our tax-exempt status becomes retroactive to our filing date
Financial summaries will be published annually on this page
Donor privacy is always respected unless explicit consent is given for public acknowledgment
Once Fully Approved
We will publish:
Annual financial reports
Program expenditure summaries
IRS Form 990 (as required by law)
